How to Prepare for a Deliverance Prayer Session
Preparing for a deliverance prayer session is heart work — repentance, forgiveness, Scripture, and prayer. Come humble. Forgive others. Confess known sin. Open the Word. Bring honest expectations. The session is Spirit-led prayer, not theatrics. Jesus is the deliverer.
1. Repent
Acknowledge known sin. Receive forgiveness through the blood of Jesus.
2. Forgive
Release every person — by name — who has harmed you. Unforgiveness anchors oppression.
3. Saturate in the Word
Read the Psalms, especially Psalm 18, 27, 34, and 91. Let the Word do its work.
4. Pray
Bring everything to God. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead the session.
